The Campaign

The AMAZonian Aerosol Characterisation Experiment (AMAZE-08) was a NASA campaign focused on monitoring the formation, transformation, and other cloud-forming properties. This research was applied to both fine and coarse-mode biogenic particles. The campaign consisted of one deployment during the boreal winter and spring of 2008. Land sites collected aerosol and atmospheric samples from the canopy of the Amazon rainforest.
