AS-TEM
Aerosol Sampling for Transmission Electron Microscopy

The Aerosol Sampling for Transmission Electron Microscopy (AS-TEM) is an airborne aerosol sampler. It collects and filters aerosol samples using an impactor, which are then analyzed with transmission electron microscopy (TEM) to determine the particles' size, shape, composition, and mixing state. It can sample fine (100-700 nm) and coarse particles (>700 nm). AS-TEM can also be used for ground-based sampling.
