AS-TEM
Aerosol Sampling for Transmission Electron Microscopy

The Aerosol Sampling for Transmission Electron Microscopy (AS-TEM) is an airborne aerosol sampler. It collects aerosol samples using an impactor and filters them, then analyzes the samples with transmission electron microscopy (TEM) to determine particle size, shape, composition, and mixing state. It can sample fine particles (100-700 nm) and coarse particles (>700 nm). AS-TEM can also be used for ground-based sampling.
