Colorado State University Ice Spectrometer

The Ice Spectrometer (IS) is an offline analytical spectrometer system owned and operated by Colorado State University (CSU). It measures the concentration of immersion-freezing ice-nucleating particles (INPs) in filtered aerosol samples. It can be used to analyze samples from airborne, balloon-borne, and ground-based platforms.
