PACS
Passive Aerosol and Cloud Suite

The Passive Aerosol and Cloud Suite (PACS) is an airborne multi-angle imaging polarimeter. It collects visible near-infrared (VNIR) imagery across five spectral channels: 470, 550, 670, 766, and 870 nm. It has around 65 viewing angles for all wavelengths, with the 670 nm wavelength channel having 130 viewing angles. PACS has a ground resolution of 37 m at nadir and a swath width of 37 km at typical flying altitudes of the ER-2 aircraft.
