Overview

The Convair C-131A was a twin-engine turboprop aircraft owned and operated by the University of Washington until 1997. It was used mainly for aerosol and cloud research missions across the Pacific Northwest. It had a maximum altitude of about 7.6 km, a maximum range of 2200 km, and a cruise speed of approximately 82 meters per second.
