Overview

The Convair C-131A was a twin-engine turboprop aircraft that was owned and operated by the University of Washington up until 1997. It was utilized for several aerosol and cloud research missions mainly across the Pacific Northwest. It had a maximum altitude of about 7.6 km, a maximum range of 2200 km, and a cruise speed of about 82 meters per second.
