Overview

The Chieftain is a twin-engine propeller aircraft manufactured by Piper Aircraft. It is smaller and simpler is design compared to other research aircraft making it easier for pilots to handle and fly for a variety of missions. It has a maximum flight altitude of 27,000 feet, a maximum range of about 1,165 miles, and a maximum payload capacity of up to 3,000 lbs.
