Overview

The DataHawk is a small uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) developed and operated by the University of Colorado. It is electrically powered and equipped with a thermodynamic sensor package that measures pressure, temperature, humidity, turbulence, and wind. DataHawk has a flight duration of 50 minutes, a maximum one-way range of approximately 35 km, and a flight altitude of around 2 km above ground level (AGL). It can reach an airspeed of 27 knots and weighs about 700 grams.
