Overview

The R/V JangMok is a research vessel owned and operated by the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST). It has primarily been used for studying marine ecology and characteristics across Korea's coastal waters. It is equipped with heavy machinery and instruments for various oceanography research needs. JangMok has a maximum speed of 13 knots, a maximum range of 130 miles, and can support a crew of up to 15 people.
