Overview

The Rutan Long-EZ is a tandem prop aircraft built by the Rutan Aircraft Factory. The Long-EZ can fly for about 10 hours and operate at altitudes up to 27,000 ft. It can carry a two-person crew and has a range of 1750 nautical miles. The Long-EZ is mainly used for private flights, but it has also been used by NOAA and NASA for research.
