Overview

The Mooney Ovation is a low-wing, high-performance, propeller-driven aircraft built by Mooney International Corporation. It mainly functions as a personal-use civil aircraft, but it has also been used for atmospheric research. It has a top speed of 242 knots, a range of 1,100 nautical miles, and a service ceiling of 25,000 feet. The Mooney offers a useful payload capacity of about 1,000 lbs with up to 4 passengers.
