Overview

NASA's Bell Jet-Ranger is a light utility helicopter manufactured by Bell Helicopter. The NASA Bell Jet-Ranger has a maximum operating altitude of nearly 14,000 feet, a maximum airspeed of 130 knots, and can accommodate a crew of one pilot and up to six additional passengers. It can carry a payload of up to 2,000 lbs. The Bell Jet-Ranger has been used to support military, civilian, and research missions.
