Overview

The Research Vessel Tethys II is owned and operated by the French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea (IFREMER). Tethys II typically conducts missions in the Mediterranean Sea and is equipped with instruments to support research into marine geosciences, biogeochemistry, and oceanography. Typical research voyages are supported by up to 15 total staff and crew, can last up to 10 days, and cover up to 200 nmi.
